We often speak of time as if it were slipping away, vanishing with every tick of the clock. But time itself does not move — it remains, infinite and unchanging. What truly moves is us: finite beings, aging, evolving, and eventually expiring. The danger lies not in “wasting time,” but in wasting ourselves. And one of the greatest ways we diminish our own journey is by comparing it to someone else’s.

It is a mistake to believe that time is slipping away.
Time does not go anywhere — it remains, constant, until the end of the world.
It is you who are moving, aging, and eventually fading.
You cannot waste time, for time is infinite.
What you waste is yourself — your finite energy, your limited days. So use yourself wisely before you expire.
And perhaps the greatest misuse of your time is comparing yourself to others.
A cow eats grass and gets fat but if a dog eats grass, it will die. Never compare yourself with others. Run your race. What works for one person may be that which will kill you. Focus on the gifts and talents God gave you and don’t be envious of the blessings He gave others_ .
